All Antiochian Orthodox Christians calling Saint George Antiochian Orthodox Church in Cicero, Illinois, their Orthodox Spiritual Home can register to be a Church Member by completing the online Membership Form on the Church Website at the link above or by scanning the QR Code above. The form will require you to submit your contact information and financial commitment.

Recurring, automatic giving is safe, simple, and secure.  The Automatic Giving Program provides the church with steady and consistent donation revenue to stabilize its budget which will preserve and protect the legacy of St. George Church.

The Church is committed to approximately $46,000 per month in expenses, which includes (but is not limited to) education, charity work, maintenance, utilities, Liturgical supplies, salaries, insurance, beautification, technology, and office supplies.

Membership giving is a pledge of financial support to Saint George Antiochian Orthodox Church.  Membership giving is an important part of our membership in the parish. It allows us to fulfill our financial obligation.  Each of us is asked to prayerfully consider the amount we intend to give in thanksgiving for our many blessings.

The ultimate commitment of the Orthodox Christian is a commitment to Christ our Lord, Who is known in and through the Church. This is expressed by the litanies of the Church which call upon us to "commit ourselves, one another, and our whole life unto Christ our God." And, prior to receiving Holy Communion, we pray: "O Master Who loves mankind, unto you we commit our whole life and our hope."

Orthodoxy firmly believes that this commitment will always be built upon a worship of God and a loving concern for others. As worship is central to the Church as a whole, worship, personal prayer, and especially participation in the Holy Eucharist are central to the life of the individual Orthodox Christian.

Parish membership responsibility includes active engagement in the Liturgical life of the parish, receiving the Sacraments, getting involved and serving in a Church ministry, and giving to the financial stability of the Church.

Recurring, automatic giving options are easy and offer convenience.  The donation envelopes have been eliminated as members are encouraged to enroll in the Automatic Giving Program.  Members who have registered for the Automatic Giving Program, are not obliged to donate on Sundays during the service, only to worship when present at Church.
